An online tool that turns long Chinese text into a single MP3 — up to 60,000 characters (about 3.6 hours of audio) per run, synthesised in chunks and merged server-side.

  • Rapid MVP iteration with AI coding tools; then hardened the API and shipped it to production myself
  • Implemented rate limiting, text/body caps, atomic job admission, a session IDOR fix, a CORS allowlist, and bounded session storage with process eviction
  • Deployed solo on an Alibaba Cloud instance: nginx virtual host, systemd unit, Let’s Encrypt TLS with auto-renewal

Sink-Free Orientation Tools

Experiment

Final year project: reproduced three sink-free orientation algorithms from a published paper, then built a visualiser to audit the output and trace where it deviates.

  • Reproduced the three algorithms from arXiv:2502.05877 (the paper is not the author’s work; this is reproduction and engineering)
  • Drag-and-drop canvas: place network nodes, run the sink-popping algorithm, compare against random baselines with risk metrics
